Which Stands for:
Hello. We are Rev. Lynda Hardin-Poston, D.D. and Rev. Vincent Poston, D.D. and we welcome you to our Fellowship's web page.
We have just begun work on it, so please be patient with us. We are a new Fellowship comprised of many different faiths, ethnic backgrounds, educational levels and ages, but we have one thing in common, we want to learn from each other. We are here to worship our "God" in our own way and to impart those ways upon others so they may learn of those ways. We feel that all religions have many things in common and those commonalities make us one. We can learn tolerance and love for the differences and take away from the experience a greater understanding of other's religious beliefs and religious commitments. We believe we can all live in harmony and allow each of us our own faith but remain one fellowship who believes in and worships "God."
We also believe the body is the real "temple" and as such should be treated with reverence and respect. We believe in proper exercise, rest and meditation along with a diet comprised of organically grown vegetables and meat raised with no chemicals, additives or growth hormones, will keep our bodies healthy, happy and young.
We also believe in holistic medicine. By this we mean the use of herbs, herbal supplements, acupuncture, massage, acupressure, aromatherapy, reflexology, and other non-standard methods of treating physical maladies and illnesses. We do not tell our members not to go to the doctor, only to seek a physician who is willing to work with them and allow them to use alternative methods of treatment as well as conventional. We believe there are benefits to both and the doctors who are willing to accept this premise are the ones we will promote.
